Midweek Weddings
As one of the busiest wedding venues in Kent we meet a great deal of people with differing needs. Whatever your preference, a smaller more intimate wedding with just a few friends and family for a ceremony and meal, late afternoon ceremony with a buffet and a party or a ceremony late in the afternoon with an exquisite and leisurely meal.
There are of course many varying ideas on the perfect wedding day and of course these are personal to the individual.
On Monday's through to Thursday's the options are endless and our usual minimum numbers are not applicable.
If you are looking for something traditional but with smaller numbers why not consider a midweek wedding which is every bit as special as each and every one of the weddings that we host at Cooling Castle Barn, just smaller.
The ceremony takes place in our candlelit Fathom Barn where the Bride makes a grand entrance onto the minstrels gallery.
After the ceremony the Bride, Bridegroom and guests retire to the Heritage Barn where a welcome drink will be ready and waiting for everyone. When the photographs have been taken and the confetti thrown, it is time for the Bridal Party to relax, socialise with their guests and prepare to enjoy a superb meal in the Tithe Barn.
Included in our midweek package price is half a bottle of house wine per person, a glass of sparkling wine to toast the happy couple, seasonal flowers are provided to decorate each table, a seating plan, menus and a two tier wedding cake. along with a bottle of champagne for the Bride and Groom to take away with them.
Specially discounted rates for photographers, vintage cars and videographers have been negotiated if required.
Additional guests may be invited along for the evening party. The price includes a scrumptious buffet and entertainment provided by a top quality D.J. Evening guests will be welcomed after the wedding breakfast has finished, the D.J will start at 7.30p.m and the party will finish at 11.00pm.
If you would like a more casual affair such as a Wedding Ceremony late in the day; ie 4pm followed by a party and evening buffet, or a late ceremony followed by a formal meal and just a couple of hours dancing, please contact us and we will quote to suit your individual wishes.
Not included are the fees payable to Chatham Registrars Office to the ceremonial formalities.
