Cooling Castle Barn Menus

We have supplied a selection of carefully chosen dishes to tempt your palate; all menus are prepared by master chefs using the finest and freshest local produce. 

All of the meals can be 'tweaked' to suit dietary requirements & allergies and the main course dishes are all served with a selection of fresh vegetables and potoatoes. Your guests can have a choice of two starters and three main courses (to include one vegetarian option) and two desserts.

If you enjoy your food plain and simple e.g... Cumberland Sausage and Mash...... Bread and Butter Pudding etc; just say so, we aim to please.

Our tasty Vegetarian selection has been tried and tested and enjoyed by staunch vegetarians and our chefs have prepared a wide selection of vegan dishes for past clients.

Dietary or Ethnic menu's can be compiled and we treat food allergies with utmost respect taking no chances.

If you would like something a little different we can provide a hog roast, which is something of a spectacle for your guests to see when they arrive. The lamb or pig is cooked on a specially constructed spit and then taken into the kitchens to be carved and served to your guests for the Wedding Breakfast or the Evening Reception.

If none of the listed dishes appeal to you this is no problem whatsoever, we can adapt or provide an alternative bespoke menu to suit any tastes.

If you would like to serve Canapés to your guests whilst they are relaxing in the Heritage Barn after the marriage ceremony, there are many different and mouth watering canapés to choose from.

A special curry chef is employed if you would like something hot and spicy for either the Wedding Breakfast or the Evening Reception or if you would prefer a Thai or Chinese selection this can also be catered for.

Evening buffet menu's can also be adapted to suit individual tastes we have listed a few combinations to whet your appetite but once again if you would prefer an alternative such as a selection of cold meats, cheeses, shellfish, whole salmon, ham on the bone etc. etc. you name it and we will aim to provide it.

A B.B.Q. is often a welcome alternative to an evening buffet, the B.B.Q. is positioned outside in the garden and the food is freshly cooked on demand. If the weather is not suitable for your guests to wander outside in their finery, then the food will simply be prepared & cooked in our kitchen and served to your guests inside. B.B.Q's and Hog Roasts are available from April to September.

Obviously in our literature or on our web site we are unable to list the many different combinations of menu's that can be provided, it would make long and tedious reading. If you would like to completely rewrite the menu, we will ask you to gather up some ideas and come along and discuss it with our wedding co-ordinators who will offer advice and ask chef to write a bespoke menu to suit your requirements.

Although altering menu's may result in price alterations we aim to remain as competitive as possible to suit the budget of any client without compromising the quality of the product or the service provided.
