Cooling Castle Barn is located some eight miles north of Rochester, Kent. It is sited on the historic scheduled monument of Cooling Castle. This idyllic setting has three barns - each with individual character, historic architecture and outstanding beauty.
Above all, Cooling Castle Barn offers everyone a warm welcome - be it for a complete wedding service or reception, a birthday, office or Christmas party, conference or any other event where we can help to make a difference.
We take pride in recognising that every person who reserves the venue has their own perspective of the way they would like things to proceed.
The Barn is renowned for its excellent food and friendly service. Nothing is too much trouble and attention to detail is crucial. Everybody involved is committed to ensuring that this policy is adhered to. We feel that each client is special and consequently the aim is to avoid the assumption that everyone has identical requirements.
Cooling Castle Barn is built on four acres of beautiful grounds. The gardens are maintained to the highest of standards ensuring that your whole day is perfect. The garden and patio areas are ideal for entertaining guests on hot summer days and warm summer evenings. On cooler autumn and winter days the surrounding area is stunning and the candlelit barns are warm and welcoming. During the darker evenings special provision is made for indoor candlelit photography.
The three adjoining barns encompass our garden, patios and pavillion, together they suggest an ambience of rural tranquility combined with a beautiful historic backdrop to create a truly memorable occasion.
